Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2020

As we are getting closer to the end of 2019, it is a good time to look back at what happened in 2019:

  • The PROMETHEE Days 2019 meeting took place in Split on May 22-24. It was a success thanks to the wonderful organization by our Croatian colleagues.
  • New links have been established, especially with colleagues from Asia:
    • I have been visiting and giving lectures in several universities in Taipei (Taiwan) in May.
    • Professor Mandeep Kaur (India) was attending the Split meeting and we are developing scientific collaboration.
    • More recently, I have developed very promising contacts with Palestinian colleagues.
    • There is a large PROMETHEE-related scientific activity in Asia and it is important to strengthen our links with our colleagues from this region.

What can we expect for 2020?

  • The PROMETHEE Days 2020 meeting will take place in Rabat (Morocco) on June 2-4. This will be our first meeting in Africa. Please check the www.prometheedays.com web site for more information. The abstract submission deadline is March 1st, 2020.
  • Several important announcements will be made in 2020:
    • We have been (and still are) working hard to make it easier for PROMETHEE Community fellows from all regions (Asia, North America, South America, Africa, Oceania, Europe) to meet and to exchange information.
    • Physical meetings such as the PROMETHEE Days are important to establish social links.
    • The publishing of papers is also important to transmit knowledge and experience.
    • Stay tuned:

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I am looking forward to meeting you on LinkedIn, on Twitter, or in Rabat next June!

Bertrand
